
Robert W. Lanum, Chairman of the Foundation Board, has been a CPA and an attorney in the Southern Indiana area for over forty years. He began practicing law as a partner in the firm of Fifer, Vogt & Lanum. Since 1985, he has been a senior partner in the law firm of Stites & Harbison. Mr. Lanum was both Mr. Ogle's attorney and friend and continues to uphold Mr. Ogle's vision for the Foundation. Mr. Lanum is a lifetime member of the Board and resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Willis Charles, Vice-President of the Foundation Board, was Vice-President of Silgas, Inc. and later served as President of Shamrock Enterprises, Inc. until his retirement. Mr. Charles was not only an employee of Mr. Ogle's, but held as a close, personal friend. Mr. Charles is a lifetime member of the Board and resides in Greenville, Indiana.

Roy Nett, Secretary-Treasurer of the Foundation Board, has been a CPA in the Southern Indiana area since the 1970's. Before that time, he was an IRS Agent and an IRS Appellate Conferee. Mr. Nett served as Mr. Ogle's accountant for many years and was a close friend of Mr. Ogle's. Mr. Nett is a lifetime member of the Board and resides in Borden, Indiana.

Norman Pfau, Jr., Foundation Board Member, is President and CEO of Geo. Pfau's Sons Co., Inc. located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Mr. Pfau is an active member of the regional charitable community and joined the Board in 2002. Mr. Pfau resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

John Ragland, Foundation Board Member, is past CEO and Chairman of the Board of Bank One, Southern Indiana, NA. He served as President of the Southern Indiana Economic Development Council until his retirement in 2006. Mr. Ragland is very active in charitable work in the community and joined the Board in 2002. Mr. Ragland resides in Carmel, Indiana.

Cecile Blau, Foundation Board Member, is a former partner in the law firm of Stites & Harbison. Ms. Blau has served as the Supervising Judge for the Clark County Drug Treatment Center and as the Judge of the Clark County Superior Court No. 2. Ms. Blau is the newest member of the Foundation's Board, joining in 2008. Ms. Blau resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Kent W. Lanum, Foundation Board Member, was named to the Foundation's Board beginning in 2012 along with his new title as President & CEO of the Foundation. Mr. Lanum had known Paul Ogle while growing up through Pauls' association with his father as his attorney and in the later years during the Foundation's initial years. He has been with the Foundation as its first full-time employee since 2007. See staff description below for more details.

FOUNDATION STAFF

Kent W. Lanum, President & CEO, has been with the Ogle Foundation since 2007 in the role of Executive Directyor and named to his current position beginning in 2012.. He holds a BA in Economics from DePauw (1983) and both an MBA (1987) and a separate MA (2006) degree in Computer Resources & Information Management from Webster University. He has been the President of the Donors Forum of Kentuckiana for two years; Board Member for the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance; Chairman of the Board for Leadership Southern Indiana; and was selected, by the public, to be a participant as one of 108 "Connectors" in the Leadership Louisville Connector Project.
Mr. Lanum has lived his entire life in the Southern Indiana area and resides with his wife, Dalene, and their son Reagan William. As a note of interest, Dalene Lanum’s first job after high school was a job working for Mr. Ogle.

Donna White Eswine, was hired as the Executive Assistant to the Director in the fall of 2009. She holds a BS in Business Administration from Indiana State University. She is a Member of Leadership Southern Indiana; Board Member for New Life Christian Missions in Kerala, India; and an active member of Northside Christian Church and in several organizations at Floyd Central High School.
Mrs. Eswine has always lived in Southern Indiana. She currently lives in the Georgetown area with her husband, Vern Eswine, and their youngest daughter, Darian. The couple’s eldest daughter, Miriam Rosemary, died in January of 2006 after a two-year battle with children’s cancer.
